Malware/Virus Protection
We can silently install anti-virus/anti-malware software which can offer both real-time protection and scheduled scans at times when the computers are less likely to be in use. The malware protection system will inform us when something has been found, with the system often quarantining or deleting the file without intervention. You can be informed of any findings directly or we can prepare reports when required. The system we use adheres to and passes the VB100 standard, which you can find out more about here.
Health Monitoring
We can silently install lightweight monitoring software which tracks a range of metrics, enabling us to provide you with an early warning of problems or possible issues on the horizon. We can track any/all of the following:
- Antivirus status
- CPU usage
- Disk health
- Disk space
- Event logs
- Memory usage
- Online state
- Processes and services
- Firewall status
- Windows update status
We are alerted when any of these tracked metrics fall below their assigned threshold and we can even send out emails direct to you for specific alerts if you want them.
Asset Tracking
We’ll be able to tell which computers are on and which are off, detailed hardware specifications for each machine which might be useful when determining what software may or may not work, provide a detailed list of software installed on each machine and what updates have been installed. We can also provide ad-hoc reports if you need them relating to the assets you own.
The great thing about all three features is that they can all be installed, managed and monitored without us even having to log in to your machines, so your workflow is less likely to be disrupted. Of course if you do need us to intercede directly we can take remote control.
