Do you need a bespoke calendar in your cloud software solution?
We have noticed a recent trend in customers having a need for a bespoke calendar/diary/scheduling element to their cloud based software solutions.
We have an excellent calendar component fit for purpose which we can plug in and customise for different business needs.
We can tailor the feature set to match your exact requirements including the days/hours on display and custom filters, which hide certain events from view. An example of how much we can customise the calendar can be seen in our case study for Trevon Industrial Finishers Limited where the component was used as the back-bone to a shop floor scheduling system for 4 production lines. The calendar will default to the current week however navigating is easy using the date picker drop-down. There’s even a ‘Today’ button which takes you back to the current week. You can also click on an event to ‘pop up’ further details, we often use the pop-up to take users in to an edit screen for that particular event.
For those systems which have a lot of events to display, the Calendar View may not be the best solution, for that we have the List View which shows the current week and events broken down by day. Whilst the calendar is ‘responsive’ and will optimise its layout for mobile devices, we find the List View is much more effective for smaller screens, with that in mind, when you load up the calendar on a mobile device we tend to default to the List View.
You can run a LIVE DEMO of our calendar plugin, why not give it a try on your desktop or mobile tablet/device. Feel free to change the dates, if you want to return to our sample page just hit the refresh button in your browser.
